We had physiology lessons for the whole day today, but of course there’s a lunch break in between. For today, Dr Lau taught us two topics which are The Cardiovascular System and The Respiratory System.
During the lunch break, most of us went back to check our results. I did not perform up to standard. Much more work needed next semester! After that, we went back for the afternoon lessons for Physiology. Some of them were watching Sherlock Holmes during the break and so, Dr Lau decided to finish the show before starting the lesson. Some took a nap and I was part of it :P The show was interesting but because I was too tired and I missed the starting of the show, I took a rest before lesson. This definitely makes me feel more awake during lesson.
After lesson, we went back to our dorms and heard that the timetable for next semester has been released. That was fast! I was quite satisfied with the timetable, except that my IS will be in the morning. Majority have it in the afternoon! This means that I can’t join Hip Hop with Yan Fang and Jas MinL Well, I shall decide on that again. We did some online shopping too! Thanks to the MDE girls who helped us with the ordering of the items! Hope to receive the items soonJ
Reflection: It was China’s national day today. In China, they celebrate the National Day for 7 days, which means that they have a one week holiday. That’s so good! For Singapore, we only celebrate it for a day and the following day will usually be an off-day to reward those who have been working hard for the NDP performance. For the national day, the locals will return back to their hometown and this left the campus really quiet. Only a small proportion that lives further will remain in the campus. I wonder if they have some celebrations like how we have it in Singapore, whereby everyone get together, watch the National Day Parade, sing the National Anthem and feel proud for our country. Suddenly, I miss Singapore so much! And of course, my family and friends too!16 more days and I will be back to SingaporeJ
