Day 31 - Common Test & Hair salon visit

We had our common test for Physiology today. It consists of mcqs and some short answer questions. After completing and submitting our common test papers, WE ARE OFFICIALLY FREE FOR SHOPPING! OH YEAH~! This is the day we have been looking forward to. For today, we went to a salon nearby to have our hair done. The salon is commonly known as 发源地. At first, we went to the wrong outlet. We went to the outlet opposite MacDonald’s which is another outlet. We were supposed to go to this outlet on the fourth floor of the shopping mall near the supermarket as the MDE students were there. We could get the discount card from them. Haha! Got help from Mr Chia and finally managed to contact the rest. We then discovered that we were in the wrong outlet of the same salon. It was so embarrassing! Haha!

The five of us, Kimberley, Yan Fang, Faith, Pei Wen and I went to the salon and get our hair done. Their service was superb and everyone was so friendly and welcoming! I love the atmosphere and their service very much! Compared to Singapore, their service is far better and much more affordable. It is really cheap and worth! J We had a great time chatting with the hairstylists and exchanging facts about our countries. In Singapore, usually only one hair stylist will attend to a customer. However, in China, there will be several staffs attending to one customer. Firstly, a staff will wash your hair. Then, a hair stylist will try to design the best and most suitable hairstyle for you and last but not least, another staff will take over. We spent about 6 hours in the salon. I perm and had my hair dyed. I also bought a hair cream. The total costs only 590 yuan, which is equivalent to S$118. This price is definitely not found in Singapore.

Finally, when all of us had our hair done, we left the place, feeling satisfied. We had a fun day in the salon! :D

That's all for today! Seeya!
