Life in Wuhan: Day 09 - Mid Autumn Festival; A drastic change in temperature.

Woots! As predicted from the weather forecast, today’s weather turned colder! It’s about 16-21 degree Celsius. It was windy too! I guess it’s the start of autumn. The wind made us feel colder and we were freezing! Haha! Last few days, the weather was still hot, temperature was even higher than that of Singapore’s. And just a few days later, it’s a complete opposite! Well, many of us were in our jackets and long pants today. We finally experienced rain for the first time in Wuhan and I heard that for the next few days, it will still continue to rain. Yipee! I prefer this kind of weather rather than the hot weatherJ

Anyway, We had physiology lesson today. It was supposed to last the whole day, but guess what? It ended earlier at 12pm since Dr Lau has completed today’s lesson and all the groups have presented. YAY! :D

For lunch, we went out to a shop selling soup and the food was not too bad:) I had mushroom soup with rice.

Was planning to go shopping with Yan Fang, Carol and Dion but we suddenly realized that we’ve to study for the physiology quiz tmr! So, we decided to change the shopping day to tmr, after physiology. Hope there’s early release!:)

After lunch, I went to walk along the streets near our campus with my roommates, Jasmin and Cindy. We realized that most of the shops were starting to sell winter wear, jeans, long-sleeve shirts and hoodies. While walking along the street, we felt really COLD for the first time in Wuhan! Haha! The wind was strong and it felt as if there was air-conditioning everywhere. We bought some gummies from Aji Ichiban and proceeded to the supermarket to stock up some food since the food supply in our dorm was running low. We bought some cup noodles(again!), biscuits and grapes. We also bought the instant 热干面. It’s a popular dish in Wuhan and I heard that it’s quite nice. We’ll try it someday.
